A Cockblocking Earth

A Cockblocking Earth

First of all, a lunar eclipse is a difficult lunation.  It was a bit of a challenge to find the secret wisdom within this lunar eclipse, because one should always interpret the stars in an optimistic manner, while remaining entirely honest and transparent of the challenges presented.

The Solar Eclipse across The U.S.A.

August 20 - August 26, 2017

Hello Stargazers!

This week we enter the month of Virgo, the last cycle of summer!  But only after what’s being called, “The Great American Solar Eclipse”!  We also have Saturn going direct in Sagittarius and Jupiter moving into the 3rd decan of Libra!

Sunday

We are preparing for what is coming tomorrow, it’s a good day to review your lunar eclipse from 2 weeks ago.  Remember, I advised that we really work on our issues, because they will blow up in our face on the Total Solar Eclipse tomorrow.  So we can prepare by looking at where we are and where we want to go.  If we did our homework, then we will be able to move forward, be victorious and take on more light.

There is fear and superstition about this eclipse and the fate of the USA as this eclipse will travel across the nation.

Just to catch you all to speed, a total solar eclipse is when the moon’s diameter (from our perspective) is larger than the sun’s, blocking all the light turning day into “night”.  It’s going to cross these 14 states: Oregon, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska, Missouri, Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, Georgia, North Carolina, and South Carolina.  All of these states, except for Illinois and Oregon, voted for Trump in the 2016 Presidential Election.  So a line is being drawn across these states, removing ego and making changes throughout the heartland, and the rest of the nation.

I spoke about this in my workshop in March, but the US is having its Pluto return right now, so it’s going through a lot of changes and transformation.  This Total Solar Eclipse within the Pluto Return is just adding to the opportunity for upgrade.  What's interesting is that the last coast to coast eclipse we had in America was in 1918 (which was also a 1 year numerologically speaking - 1 + 9 + 1 + 8 = 19 and 1 + 9 = 10 and 1 + 0 = 1, just like 2 + 0 + 1 + 7 = 10, and 1 + 0 = 1.  What's even more auspicious is that this is the first eclipse that has been exclusively in the US since the country's independence in 1776!!  Again, taking us back to the Pluto return theme!!  There is no doubt that the country is due for a renewal, and this Total Solar Eclipse is sealing the deal.  Although the eclipse will only last for 1 hour and 33 minutes, the effects will ripple for another year and a half.

The eclipse is occurring in the last degrees of Leo, which is the decan of standing up for what you believe in and warding off opposition.  There is a lot of promise for growth, success and progress, which is exactly what the country needs right now.

The degree of the Total Solar Eclipse will remain a sensitive point in the Zodiac for the next year and a half, and because Mars is almost conjunct the eclipse, it will activate right away on September 3rd, 2017 (mark this day in your calendar, it’s going to be very powerful).

Now, in the dash system, it is known and accepted that the moon is generally competitive with the sun.  The moon, being yang, wants to outshine the sun, which is yin.  But, when the moon has the opportunity to block out the sun, we have a total upset of yin and yang.  On one hand, our reactive behavior is eclipsing our conscious will; at the same time, we intuition is eclipsing our egotistical motives.  So we have the opportunity to begin a new balance of these yin and yang energies.

A Pluto return, is a time for reboot, and upgrade.  It is the only planet that indicates the power to level-up.  A Total Solar Eclipse, during a Pluto return tells me that it is crucial that we do not get sucked into judgement or negativity.  If we do, we will experience the negative effects of these astrological transits.  Remember, the Sun is the ego, the moon is the inner self, and the moon is the ruler of the US (since it is a Cancer), so it’s all about getting back to the roots of the declaration of independence, freedom, liberty, and justice for all.

Tuesday

Just shortly after the Total Solar Eclipse, the sun moves into earthly virgo to begin closing out the final cycle of summer.  We are detail oriented and taking inventory of our past year to prepare for the autumn equinox.  The energy is still very boiled from the Total Solar Eclipse all week.  In fact, the Total Solar Eclipse pretty much eclipses anything else I could write about!

Wednesday

We are out of sorts a bit today, trying to figure out what just happened.  Don’t be frazzled, or if you are, don’t take it personal - the cosmos is a bit Topsy-Turvy right now.  Avoid criticism at all costs, just find something positive to think about and be productive.

Thursday

Finally! The heartbreak is over! We no longer need to focus on our broken hearts!  What a relief!  I hope you had a great review, but now it’s time to put things to rest and bury the past.  This is a great if we did our work throughout the heartbreak as we can now reset ourselves and take the time we need to organize.  Otherwise, if we didn’t, we need to be careful from escaping through sleep or isolation.  This is a potential place for refuge, but from the pain and suffering, not for the pain and suffering.  If you haven’t, let it go.

Friday

Saturn, the planet of karma, goes direct in sagittarius helping us with our obligations and responsibilities.  Be careful from burning out, we need to recharge.  Maybe we have been given a promotion or have had recent success, and now we need to pick up the pace and work it.  It’s time to finalize and follow through.  Again, perfect with the Total Eclipse in Leo theme of the week.  Lots of fire, for lots of transformation!

We may feel the world begin to shift with Saturn going direct.

Saturday

As always Saturday will re-host the energy from the week, which was an intense one.  Venus will also move into Leo which will make our ability to love a bit more fiery and playful.

So, this week:

  • Stay aware during The Total Solar Eclipse.
  • Shift into the practical applications of Virgo.
  • Don’t be too critical of yourself.
  • Be careful of hiding or sleeping away your pain.
  • Don’t take it personal if you’re out of sorts!
  • Be playful in love!
  • Prevent burning out, by taking some time for yourself.
  • Use the Virgo Essential Oil Blend!

In my weekly write-ups, I refrain from using “astrological jargon” because it really doesn't make sense to people who know nothing about archetypal astrology.  But I do indicate my science in the footer.  General transit forecasts tell us what is going on in the world and how people are acting in general.  Detailed and specific forecasts are of course read in relation to your birth chart.  Meanwhile, if you want a more detailed explanation of where these energies are manifesting specifically for you, book a dash astrology session with me.
