A Cockblocking Earth
On July 27th, we will have an intense full moon TOTAL lunar eclipse!
Now, I need to go over a couple things before I divulge the meaning of this lunation.
First of all, a lunar eclipse is a difficult lunation. It was a bit of a challenge to find the secret wisdom within this lunar eclipse, because one should always interpret the stars in an optimistic manner, while remaining entirely honest and transparent of the challenges presented.
Lunar eclipses are usually difficult because it’s a time when the sun, which represents our ego, and most of our karma, is dominating space. The moon on the other hand, is connected with truth, the law of the universe, and deep spirituality. When it is eclipsed by the earth, it’s like saying we are blocking out spirituality and putting our ego perspective first. Megalomania could be everywhere and it might be if we allow our spiritual connection to be cockblocked by our life here on earth (remember the earth is the one doing the cock blocking).
Second, we need to understand that every year, the full moon of leo is the day of soulmates.
Why? Because leo is ruled by the sun, so the sun has extra energy when it’s transiting its own “kingdom”. When the moon is in opposition to the sun, from our perspective on earth, the moon appears to look full. Obviously this is a lot of light - even more so during the month of leo. It’s a union of yin and yang, which usually makes for the most positive day of the year.
So the earth is cockblocking this union of sun and moon, which only happens in leo once a year! It would be comparable to not seeing your soulmate for a year and then the one day you can meet, your cousin shows up unexpectedly and wants to see all your pictures from overseas!
But don’t worry, I will explain how to change this situation.
Here’s the thing. In astrology, we strive to always overcome the effects of the stars. So, when the full moon of soulmates is seemingly interrupted by earth’s shadow across the moon, we need to understand that things are not as what they may seem.
Even though the moon will be blocked out, it doesn't cancel the full moon, because the moon will still be opposite to the sun, it’s just that earth will receive the light. In astrology, the moon is the planet which represents the vessel, how much we receive, but really earth has the biggest desire to live. After all, it’s the only planet where we can live at the time of this writing.
Going back to the example with the cousin. First of all, if there is only one day a year we can see our soulmate, something has got to change. Long distance relationships just don’t work unless it's a step of coming together, or it's a temporary thing (say for work or school for example). Next, if our cousin is unknowingly cockblocking us, then we need to adjust our attitude. We shouldn’t be so possessive of our relationship, we should still be hospitable and spread happiness with others. Your cousin may be really excited to see you, so share the love! In the same way, the earth will receive the light, which would normally go to the moon.
The blocking out of the moon on the day of soulmates means that in order to connect to our soulmate, we will need to eliminate our selfish nature and survival patterns. If we can manage this, we will be able to renew our current partnerships or attract new ones (in love, life, business, friends, etc.)
Sometimes people marry for money, looks or to fill a void, and these types of relationships are more like business deals until we figure out what we really want. A sign of true soulmates is people who come together to resolve the karma of the world and help resolve it (and that includes our cockblocking cousin, and obviously the earth). There is a common mission each has committed to, before they have even met. It is said that the merit of a soulmate is bestowed before we actually meet them (which is based on our karma).
Because the moon will be conjunct mars on this lunation, we will have no choice but to eliminate ego identities and break down old patterns.
On the Blood Moon Lunar Eclipse, we will either access a state of paradise with our loved one, or be immediately shown where we are selfish in the relationship, meaning that we still have a “reason” to be with that person. If there is a “reason” to be with someone, even for “love”, it’s a business deal. This is because love that is based on reasoning, or emotions, is actually not love at all. Love that is based on these energies, is vulnerable to annoyance, irritability, secrets, and other forms of separation. True love is beyond our understanding of it, and includes all aspects of life, logical, creative, spiritual, and beyond.
In conclusion, this will be the longest Lunar Eclipse of the 21st century! It’s also marinated in TRUE LOVE from a mathematical observation as it will last 1 hour and 43 minutes. When we put all the numbers together, we get “143”, which means I LOVE YOU in pager code! So this eclipse will be exactly the length we need to block out our selfish, non-spiritual ego to truly connect with our soulmate. During this 1 hour and 43 minutes, we will reset ourselves and reunite with the our soulmate, wherever they are.
