Aquarius Season 2020
This year the sun will go into Aquarius on January 20, 2020 which is the first solar ingression of the decade!
In astrology, a solar ingression is when the sun, which represents 60-70% of our personal karma and personality, enters a new sign. Since the sun never goes retrograde and wants to always keep moving forward, each ingression represents the next step. When the sun moves into a new sign, our world is filtered by the light of that constellation.
Because everything comes from light, all the ions, atoms, and cosmic pixels are influenced by that zodiac archetype. The sun also represents 60-70% of our personal karma, so it’s a rather large shift. In order to really make the most of this special 30 Day period, I am offering a quantum meditation where you access your solar plexus energy and align with the highest vibration of the archetype to ensure a powerful return of energy.
Aquarius is the second cycle of the winter season. It's a cycle when we build upon the light we have revealed during solar Capricorn, but with a twist of air! Aquarius wants to syndicate and get things into action!
Finally, some planets are moving out of heavy Capricorn and into Aquarius, which is lighter and gives us more room to breathe! Aquarius is one of the last two months of the astrological year!
When the Sun is transiting through Aquarius, known as “Aquarius Season”, certain laws and propensities, gifts and challenges are set into effect. In DASH® Astrology, we know that Aquarius is ruled by the Tarot card, The Star.
The Star teaches us the deeper we embrace our shadow side, the higher we rise. The more honesty we accessed during Capricorn, the more that can be renewed.
Renewal is a process of extending the period of validity of a license, subscription, or contract. Aquarius rules over technology which is something we all renew every month (e.g., Netflix, Spotify, Vessel Building, etc.).
The chart of this Aquarian ingression has the moon aligned with Mars in Sagittarius. This is a call to become tactful with our actions. We are asked to channel them into something expressive and creative. It’s a process of inspiring others with failures and successes! Uranus is in Taurus sitting in time-out, trying to shake up the system and get us to change the channel as a collective.
The Sun is in a square aspect to Uranus in Taurus. Uranus is the ruler of Aquarius, so it’s like the two are really creating this ambiance of “don’t tell me what to do”. We need to really open our hearts and our hearts and know that it’s time to listen to others! God speaks to us through angels and angels speak to us through people! So listen!

During this time, we are asked to take back our power and watch our words. Avoid profanity, speaking without thinking and misrepresenting yourself. The Sun is in the 1st house of self conjunct the ascendant (which is also Aquarius).
Stay true to yourself and speak up for yourself when asked. This is a strong period of self-identification and passion.
After all the weight of Capricorn, we are lightening up. The only caution is becoming too fixed in our ideas to the point of ignoring or fighting with others. The New Moon in Aquarius begins the Chinese New Year of the Rat.
The New Moon in Aquarius can initiate a new cycle of connecting to our wishes and purification. This particular Aquarius New Moon connects us to the power of water and healing. When we connect to the 48-hour lunar window of this New Moon, we can receive all the energy we need to optimize this lunar cycle.

As Mercury whips into Pisces our thoughts will be more geared towards spirituality and evolution. There will be trends of teachings, schools and spiritual journeys.
Our task is to integrate what we have learned and to evolve beyond what we no longer need!
This is a period when we move onto new shores and into new realities. We can always move when we shift our perspective. Watch out for plenty of shifts and parallel universes!
Venus will enter into Aries so we will need to watch out for love at first sight when moving into the new realities. Venus tends to love too easily when in Aries which can be great, but it’s really important that we all are very mature and use vision when dealing with love. Ask the difficult questions and expect answers!

The Full Moon in Leo will help you recover anything you have lost that really belongs to you!
The planet Mars will enter into Capricorn. Just when we thought we had been getting away from all that Capricorn energy, Mars had to go ahead and join the party! But it’ll be quick! While in Capricorn, Mars we will all be looking for control! There is an energy of determination in the cosmos, so the best way to use this energy is by focusing on a project and working toward it!
We also will need to watch out for anger and rage. Self-control is the only thing we can really control. There might be some obsession with not wasting things and we all need some extra oomph to let things go and allow them to be.
Finally, Mercury in Pisces will go retrograde on Feb. 17, 2020. Because Mercury retrograde affects our focus and communication, keep it together as much as possible, stay focused and double-check travel plans, contracts, and negotiations. Avoid beginning or signing anything big if possible.
This year Mercury retrogrades occur within all three of the water signs, so it’s almost as if the water is going in reverse giving us the ability to flow upstream like salmon! It’s time to open the mind (Mercury) and go against the emotional flow. Water signs will feel these Mercury retrogrades massively and create a thirst for safety and security from fear.
