Hi Stargazers!
What’s happening this week is a concentrated Capricorn pile-up that keeps hammering Chiron. Capricorn is about control, responsibility, emotional restraint, grudge-holding, and material pressure—so none of this is subtle.
Plus, this week, there are sooooo many planets opposing Jupiter (the ruling planet of 2026, by the way)—the planet of expansion, but also of repeating mistakes and replaying unlearned life situations. So right now, everything is getting filtered through Jupiter. It’s time to notice where we exaggerate, overdo it, or inflate the story.
So what’s the antidote? We need to understand something called redemption.
From the Latin redemptio, meaning “to buy back” or “to release,” redemption isn’t a bargain extracted through force. It’s a return to freedom that leaves integrity intact. And when redemption is understood as freedom without tradeoff, it doesn’t arrive dramatically—through ritual, spectacle, or performance for an audience or teacher. It’s a quiet, uneventful process: initiated under pressure, met with integrity that refuses to harden, and carried by a courage that doesn’t need to dominate in order to be real.
Astrology—the stars and planets—are not twinkling to ruin our lives; they are shining to help us shift within so that life can expand. Life expands not through force, but through alignment, like a flame that burns without consuming its source. This kind of strength is subtle, sustainable, and relational. It has no need to prove itself or conquer others, but it can move within relationships and reality without losing itself.
When redemption is understood as the ability to live in this world without being weighed down or poisoned by it, we begin to see that it is an ongoing practice, not a dramatic exit. Letting go of narrow-mindedness is not only about breaking free from the negativity around us—it is about choosing not to recreate that narrow-mindedness wherever we go. Otherwise, the same patterns will simply reappear, asking again to be resolved.
Across generations and landscapes, the work remains the same: to learn how to hold influence, success, and authority without slipping into fear, control, or arrogance. Redemption, then, is not a destination but a discipline of lifelong refinement of power into something that serves life rather than consumes it.

TEACHINGS OF THE TRANSITS
January 11, 2026
Venus square Chiron hits first, which activates relationship wounds, scarcity patterns, unmet needs, and entitlement versus withdrawal dynamics. This is usually where emotional defenses crack: wanting stability or loyalty but feeling rejected, unchosen, or forced to perform worthiness.
January 12, 2026
The Sun squares Chiron to light yesterday’s wounds up consciously. This is the “oh, this again” moment where the wound is no longer avoidable. We’re aware of exactly where we’ve been bracing ourselves instead of healing.
January 13, 2026
Mars squares Chiron and escalates yesterday's ignored patterns into action and reaction. This may be where anger, impulse, or defensive action can flare if the wound isn’t acknowledged. A Capricorn Mars tends to repress until it snaps, while an Aries Chiron reacts fast and personally. This is the most volatile point of the whole week.
January 14, 2026
As Mercury opposes Jupiter, the tone shifts with reflection and learning through external circumstances. Mercury is mindset and communication, Jupiter is repetition, cyclical narratives, and inflated meaning. Capricorn versus Cancer brings the head versus the heart, logic versus emotional memory. This is where we see the story we keep telling ourselves and how it’s been emotionally reinforced, usually through family patterns, attachment habits, or nostalgia rather than truth.
January 15, 2026
The release valves open. Venus sextile Saturn is stabilizing and corrective. But this is an opportunity that requires effort and offers healing support. This is where healthier relationship structures become possible if we don’t default to old scarcity patterns. Venus also trines Uranus and brings relief through change. Something shifts unexpectedly, emotionally or relationally, but in a way that feels freeing instead of threatening.
January 16, 2026
The second Mercury square Chiron this week makes wounds sting verbally and mentally. This is the “saying the wrong thing,” ruminating, or realizing how our internal dialogue keeps reopening the same wound. Mercury squares are mental friction, and with Chiron they expose how language, thoughts, or assumptions are part of the injury loop.
January 17, 2026
Today, softens everything further with Neptune’s compassion, forgiveness, and emotional clarity comes in if we allow ourselves to stop gripping the outcome. But Sun and Saturn want us to be taking responsibility without self-punishment, building something real from what hurts instead of armoring against it. Venus entering Aquarius marks a noticeable emotional detachment. We’re no longer stuck in the Capricorn weight or the Aries rawness; we’re stepping back to see the pattern. Finally, Sun trine to Uranus caps the week with insight and forward motion. This is the “aha, I’m not trapped in this anymore” moment. Trines don’t force change, but they make it easy to move if we’re willing.

♉️ Taurus: April 20 – May 20
You’ve done everything right, so why does it still feel like something’s missing? Jan 11–13 exposes a deeper fear of not being chosen unless you're useful. By the 15th, things shift—love or stability shows up in a form that doesn’t cost your peace.
♊️ Gemini: May 21 – June 20
The mind spirals this week, especially Jan 12 & 16, when communication stings or you say something you regret. It’s not just about words—it’s what they touch in you. By the 17th, detachment gives you clarity: you’re not trapped in this thought loop anymore.
♋️ Cancer: June 21 – July 22
Emotional bruises come to the surface Jan 11–13, especially around being left out or feeling like you have to earn love. You’re so good at holding it together, but this time, let the cracks show. The weekend brings a softer, steadier wave—connection without the cost.
♌️ Leo: July 23 – August 22
That “why am I not enough?” feeling returns Jan 12, and it hurts more because you’ve worked so hard to grow. Anger may bubble up Jan 13, especially if you feel dismissed. But by the 17th, you remember who you are—and stop letting old pain decide your worth.
♍️ Virgo: August 23 – September 22
Self-talk is sharp this week, especially Jan 12 & 16, when everything feels like it’s your fault to fix. It’s not. The weekend gives you a moment to pause, breathe, and choose compassion over critique—for yourself, first.
♎️ Libra: September 23 – October 22
Jan 11–13 may stir up deep hurt around love—like you’re giving everything and still feeling like it’s not enough. Don’t disappear or perform; that’s the old way. Jan 15–17 opens a door to something better: love that honors you, not empties you.
♏️ Scorpio: October 23 – November 21
You’re used to holding things in, but Jan 13 might break the dam. What comes up isn’t weakness—it’s what’s been left unspoken too long. By the 17th, you start turning pain into power, without the armor.
♐️ Sagittarius: November 22 – December 21
You’ve outgrown an old identity—especially the one that keeps pretending everything’s fine. Jan 12–14 forces you to look at the root of why you avoid vulnerability. By the weekend, a shift in perspective brings relief—you don’t have to be strong by being alone.
♑️ Capricorn: December 22 – January 19
This is a heavy week, especially Jan 11–13, when the pressure to keep it together cracks wide open. You don’t need to have all the answers—especially when you're the one who needs support. Jan 15–17 offers something real: healing that doesn’t require perfection.
♒️ Aquarius: January 20 – February 18
This week shows you the emotional loops you’ve been trying to out-think. Jan 14 puts your logic and your heart in direct tension—don’t pick a side, integrate both. By the 17th, with Venus in your sign, you finally get to re-center yourself without guilt.
♓️ Pisces: February 19 – March 20
You’re deeply affected by tone and energy this week—Jan 11–13 might bring back feelings of being overlooked or too much. You can’t save everyone, especially at your own expense. But Jan 17 opens your heart again, this time with boundaries.
