The Zodiac

There are 12 zodiac signs which set the context of the chart. They are equal in degree and each rule over its own slice of the 360° chart. The signs set the tone and color the experiences of where they dominate and can be seen as a journey through which the planets travel to can experience. Each sign has its own rules, laws, and benefits.

The most important thing to remember about signs is that we all have them in our chart. These archetypes are manifesting somewhere and can be the ruler of a house or the host to a planet. Each sign and its challenges will be found somewhere in our lives. Where the signs are in our chart tells us where we can work with these energies.

There are wholesome and degrading ways in which the archetypes can express themselves. Most of us express them in a degraded way and unfortunately become stereotypes. It is our work to upgrade from the stereotype and access the archetypal energy in its pure essence so that we can create the reality we want to live in and no longer be at the effect of past causes.

Aries

Aries gives us clarity and vision to see the bigger picture. In order to see the whole picture, we need to have the pieces of the puzzle organized. Otherwise, the picture will be incomplete leaving space open for doubt, uncertainty, and self-righteousness. Aries helps us to organize those pieces of our life so that we can create the structure we call life.

Taurus

The purpose of Taurus is to bring beauty by teaching us to access the spiritual within the physical. When we do this we can recognize the value of the physical world and objects which is far valuable beyond what the five senses can perceive. With Taurus, we use our material experiences to serve our spiritual purpose. We can our senses but we must not forget our essential self which connects us to the true source of satisfaction, otherwise, we become indulgent and hedonistic.

Gemini

Gemini shows us how our choices open playing fields for our karma or merit to play out on. This is why we will always get what’s due to us - the good, the bad and the ugly. Gemini increases our awareness so that we can have an idea of what to anticipate and how we can recognize blessings, even when they are in disguise.

Cancer

Cancer teaches us how to integrate all archetypal energies and put them into action. It is able to do this because of its sensitivity and ability to act out these energies in motion, or emotions. With Cancer, we need to be careful of being overwhelmed and hosting negative energies and it teaches us how to cleanse negativity and nurture ourselves as well as others into being centered.

Leo

Leo represents our ability to overcome our animal nature as represented by the lion - the king of the animal kingdom. Leo teaches us we can tame our ego, and consequently shine brightly with courage. Because this is the destiny of the Leo archetype, sometimes it just wants to shine without actually controlling the ego. Working with Leo makes us popular, courageous and helps us overcome laziness and pride.

Virgo

Virgo is detailed oriented and critical of itself and others. It knows when to push and when to pull. Virgo considers all the data before it takes the next step. This can make Virgo stagnant because it is waiting for perfection. When we work with Virgo, we learn to accept things they way they are and realize that everything is perfect the way it is so that we can move forward.

Libra

Libra has ideals of balance and justice. It also rules our decisions as well as their consequences. Relationships, law, courts, and rulings are all ruled by Libra and we should be careful to not seek justice wherever Libra resides. Harmony and friendless are the default settings for Libra, but if there is ever the impression that there is imbalance, Libra will avenge with a fury. We work with Libra to help us understand the cosmic balance of things and how to heal betrayal. It is with this archetype where we can deal with our karma.

Scorpio

Scorpio is an intense sign of death and mystery. Very intuitive and overwhelmingly astute, Scorpio is addicted to intensity and prefers to make things difficult. We work with Scorpio to learn how to channel these energies into loyalty and the ability to accept the mystical part of life without destroying everything in the process.

Sagittarius

Sagittarius is about expanding horizons and being tested. With Sagittarius, we come to discover what works best by testing the waters with the process of trial and error. There is a carefree spirit that is not concerned with consequences and it gives us a strong sense of freedom and adventure. Capricorn

Aquarius

Aquarius is individuality in the truest sense of the word. It is indivisible as it is connected to the network of sentient beings. At the same time, Aquarius wants to be recognized for its unique and quirky demeanor. Aquarius can purify and tap into what is needed in the collective and we work with Aquarius to see how we can help others and advance our world.

Pisces

Pisces is evolution and it rules sleep and dreams. It's a sign where we have access to the spiritual realm and can dream about where we are going. Pisces indicates some kind of karmic ending and we work with Pisces to make sure that we cover all the bases so that we don't have to suffer from the effects of limitation.
