The Gift of Certainty.
Hi Stargazers! 🌚
We are once again presented with an opportunity to ask for what we want, set our intentions and elevate ourselves to the next level. Obviously, we need to take a look at the spiritual weather to see what the obstacles the ego will throw at us to keep the status quo.
This New Moon is just one day before Jupiter, the planet of cycles, moves into Sagittarius, the sign of temperance. Both Saturn and Neptune are making aspects to this New Moon which remind us that we need to use the skills we have accumulated to imagine the things we want.
Now the word, imagine, contains a lot of power. If we can really imagine something, rather than just visualize or think about it, it’s as if it’s already happened.
Saturn wants to manifest the energetic flow, while Neptune wants to dissolve the material. When we balance these two archetypal functions, we step out of old universes and step into the new ones we have imagined.
We do it all the time actually, just from a reactive place. Think of someone who daydreams - they have stepped out into their own world. Which brings us back to having an objective experience of our reality.
There is a big emphasis on the collective and this New Moon in Scorpio wants us to really see the benefits of using our intuition to guide us. In order to access intuition, we need to take responsibility for our lives, which translates into not blaming or feeling victimized by the circumstances we are in.
When we are children, we are watched out for by our parents (usually). But, there comes a time when we need to watch out for ourselves, and then one day, for others. Most of us, even those of us with children or extended family, do not make that jump to watch out for others. We tend to put our needs first and disguise it as “watching out for others”. It is essentially as case of the inner child acting out its neediness.
This New Moon in Scorpio is giving us the transformative energy to move out of our selfish desires. It’s not going to take care of ALL of it, but it will give us a boost so that we can begin to sincerely focus on others.
Now, it’s important to know that it isn’t impure to desire. That’s not what this New Moon is about.
In fact, when we focus on others, we build our vessel to receive more energy that we couldn’t draw down for only ourselves. So, the paradox is that when we are selfish, our vessel remains small and then we resent others who have more. When we are sharing, our vessel expands and we receive more, and bye-bye resentment!
If, and this happens more often than it should, we receive energy that our vessel is too small for, we will only have overflow and chaotic situations.
When energy flows in, it goes through four phases, like the four phases of the moon. With each phase, we need to commit to our desire.
Whenever we fail to remember commitment, we destroy our chances at receiving more energy. It’s easy to state what we want at the beginning of a venture, but when it’s tested and we are called to remember what we asked for, we fail to commit and destroy the vessel. The situation has passed and will never return as every moment is unique.
So, we want to get to a point where we can handle the commitment and keep building our vessels. Potential is never enough, because it is only potential. We need to want what it is that we are asking for in every phase it begins to manifest.
By the time we have successfully received what it is we have asked for, we are no longer the same person we were when we asked for it. Which means, we need to remember why we asked for it in the first place, otherwise, Scorpio destroys it again.
The gift of certainty begins will knowing who you are all the time, so that we can attain endless appreciation.
